Hu's on First?

Jintao's historic visit to the United States next week
will be in a big, secure house in Washington where the
host is one of the world's most powerful men. The White
House? No. It won't be in Washington D.C., but Seattle,
and the Tuesday dinner will be held at the $100 million
lakeside mansion of Microsoft founder and the world's
richest man, Bill Gates. (REUTERS)
Rove: "Sir, Hu is going to be attending a dinner at the
house of one of your biggest campaign contributors, Bill
Gates."
Bush: "Who?"
Rove: "Yessir, Hu."
Bush: "No, I'm asking you..... Who's having dinner with
Gates?"
Rove: "That's right, Hu is having dinner with Gates"
Bush: "Please just tell me who is having dinner with
Gates?"
Rove: "As far as I know, he is."
Bush: OK, forget about who, what about when?
Rove: Wen?
Bush: Yes, when!
Rove: I don't think the Premier is coming.
Bush: Who asked about the Premier?
Rove: Oh, did he? You'd think he'd know.
Bush: Know what?
Rove: "Hu'd know about Wen."
Bush: Rove...
Rove: Yes?
Bush: Don't make me feed you a pretzel.
