Turkey time
Oct. 8th, 2006 10:12 pmAnd not the political turkeys, either. Sorry Havoc. ^_^
I have cooked an enormous meal. A nice tomato bouillon to start off, roast turkey breast, sage stuffing, my first mashed potatoes (which came out aces, thank goodness), and for dessert a pumpkin pie with whipped cream. And to accompany the meal, a bottle of Mouton Cadet 2003.
And I still have enough left for another meal for two. For tomorrow night: Turkey Surprise! (As in, I'm going to be surprised with whatever I end up coming up with...)
Poor Wilf has this nasty cold that's been going around. As a result he didn't enjoy the meal as much as he might have, poor guy.
