I use Trillian Pro so I was able to add LJ Talk as a Jabber connection and still use just one client for Live Messenger, ICQ, Yahoo, AIM and now LJ comm protocols.

I'm doing the same thing with GAIM, which is another excellent IM client.

Yep. I never use Yahoo and have only a few AIM contacts now, so I really only use MSN and ICQ but the thought of ever going back to running multiple IM clients makes me shudder. The only time I use Live Messenger is for video cam sessions with my parents and a couple of friends. Hopefully, the next version of Trillian Pro will finally have their video cam feature functional.
