When you're looking for a job, it's like you are already employed - but employed at selling yourself.

I got a call from a headhunter this morning, a job I'd applied for is going to somebody else. Rough, but hey, on to the next one.

The other headhunters are not giving me any leads whatsoever. It's just not the time of year when a lot of companies are hiring. Sigh.

It's frustrating, but I've got to keep my spirits up.

I'm sure it will, but in the meantime I just have to keep myself from becoming discouraged.

Heh, as soon as I hit the big time I'm going to hire a cute Japanese maid for you so you won't WANT to go to work. That's how much I like you. ^_^

It doesn't always happen right away. But good luck is with you and you will surely find what you need when you need it most.

I still love the saying by *I think* Stephen Leacock "I find the harder I work the more good luck I have" or something like that. So, work hard and enjoy the greater rewards of good luck!

I love that saying as well. It was from either Stephen Leacock or Mark Twain.
