lordshipmayhemIt's a good news/bad news kind of day.
1) The good news: I got a call from an accounting temp firm who may have a contract position for me. They'll call me back at 10:00 tomorrow.
2) The bad news/good news/bad news: Dad had a biopsy on a suspicious site.
- Bad: The thing came back as Bowen's Disease, which is a form of skin cancer
- Good: If they got it in time, there's a very high survival rate (all but a handful).
- Good: The cells they could see hadn't spread
- Bad: But the doctor hadn't gotten it all - they could tell in the lab.
Back to the doctor for a bigger biopsy. Fingers crossed that they get it all, and have it before it gets away on them.
