This is scary. Not the remote-control beer cooler, which is kewel, or the Powramid compact power "strip" (OK, pyramid, it's not a strip), or the Yoggie Pico and Pico Pro USB security devices with Linux and an AMD processor pre-installed (should be in every geeky tool-box in a year).

The truly terrifying thing is... The Hello Kitty Laptop.

Shiver. And, according to NEC, that's a production model.

You know, I'm actually not opposed to the idea of a Hello Kitty laptop... I just think I could make one that looks a bit less like a cheap hooker, that's all.

Really Sanrio, couldn't you have pushed for NEC to make the unit a bit sleeker and maybe a bit less Paris Hilton-inspired?!
