You may have heard of Sony/BMG, the company that likes to sue the bejeezuz out of single mothers and poor university students using unlicenced private detectives to pretend to break into their computers, accusing them of massive music piracy? The one that placed a rootkit on a number of their music CD's that exposed countless thousands of users (U.S. Department of Defence, come on down!!) to security holes large enough to drive the MV Queen Victoria through, sideways?

Well, guess who got caught with pirated software.

The vendor of said software is not willing to settle out-of-court.

Payback's a bitch, Sony/BMG.
