lordshipmayhemThis is cute. It seems that two patent lawyers met and fell in love. Now one of these, Ryan Thomas Grace of Merchant & Gould PC, has decided to propose to his girlfriend Ellie, and has decided to do so as publicly as possible.
"Publicly as possible" can be in the stands at a professional sports game; it can be in a fancy restaurant with linen tablecloths and crystal wine goblets and every table occupied; it can be (as one swain in Oshawa did) by wearing a suit of armour rented from a costume shop, and riding up on a white horse. Or, if you're a patent lawyer, by filing a patent with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
