Small Business Update

It's been an interesting time. I've had a taxi driver who is self-employed, and now I've got a non-resident filing a tax return on Canadian income (Section 217). I've seen non-citizens with overseas income. I've had retired folks. I've seen tons of medical expenses - if I don't see another prescription slip, it'll be too soon.

I'm still trying to find more clients for the bookkeeping side. Still, it'll come, I'm sure.

I want to be busier...

I've got a stack of pop quizes I need graded by friday and some that need to be done by next monday. I also need about 4 weeks worth of programming projects graded and recorded by last week.

Where should I send them?

Send them all to Turtle Island Recycling. They accept all grades of paper!!!

You have no idea how often that is the final fate of papers is just that.

I really wish we were in Ontario so we could just consult with you. >.> (Chris says he thinks income tax is different from province to province.) I think we've missed the deadline, so hopefully we don't owe anything. But we still have to figure a couple of things out. Blah.

You know, I've been looking at my taxes for this year and I think something isn't working out correctly (nothing's changed for me and for some reason I'm getting reasonably less than I did last year, though I think it might be related to my RRSP contribution this year). I'd love to give you my information, if you're willing to go through another (perhaps easier?) set of tax forms.

And maybe, we can talk about my own future plans. :)

So far, Sunday's sort-of free-ish. (I managed to snag a rental car, so I'm off to Newmarket tonight... which means I need to return said rental car tomorrow.)
