It was a marvelous wedding. The bride was radiant, and the groom was nervous.

The crowd was small, just as Margaret wanted. She's not good with crowds, not having any living family left. Just my two sisters, my brother-in-law, and Dad's and her ministers and their wives.

The reception was held at a nice little restaurant in Courtice called Bistro 238. I really recommend it for those of you able to get to Oshawa - it's just the other side of Townline Road, at the border between Oshawa and Courtice, on Highway 2. They've got a nice wine list and a variety of dishes ranging from $11 to $21, plus appetizers. The most interesting item on the menu was a seafood strudel.

The bride and groom are now heading off on their honeymoon, first overnight in Ottawa, then to Quebec City for three nights, then back to Ottawa and then to Oshawa.

Yes, the neighbours are keeping an eye on their houses. ^_^
