It's not easy being green
Aug. 8th, 2008 01:47 pmThe City has painted the wooden parts of the washroom/changing room building at Dentonia Park. The structure is mostly brick and is a little smaller than two portable classrooms, and has two large sections of wood cladding on the east side.
The colour chosen by the City Works department, in its infinite wisdom? A lovely green, sort of a cross between Airsick Bullfrog and Mint Flavoured Ptomaine Poisoning. Yum, yum. And you get to look at this visual delight every time you cross the bridge.
In other areas of Very Bad Ideas, Microsoft has dumped its old marketing firm for a new one, in an effort to kick-start sales ofFistula Vista. Apparently nobody wants it, especially the Home Basic version (when one electronics and computer store went under, the last thing left on the shelves in the final days of the bankruptcy blowout sale was... boxes of Vista Home Basic.)
I think this ad is quite effective at showing the "wow" that is Vista, don't you? Isn't this new ad agency clever?
