Update

Update: just got off the phone with Kathy. Being a nurse, she understands charts. (I understand them too, not as well, mind you. But she read Dad's.)

X-ray in April: nothing found in lungs.

X-ray in June: both lungs had a mass, each mass 2.5 cm. One organ of the digestive system also has a mass.

X-ray in August: both masses now 5 cm across. That's approaching the size of your heart. Plus, now 3 organs of the digestive system are involved.

From the limited description of today's issue, we're nervous that it might have metastasized to the brain. Its expansion is remorseless and rapid.
