Sep. 11th, 2006 10:41 pmAntiwar protestor claims to me that the reason why the terrorists flew the planes into the World Trade Centre was to get revenge for Dubya's invasion of Afghanistan.
It's also Dubya's fault that the USS Cole was attacked. After all, hadn't he invaded Afghanistan by then? And Iraq?
And the truck-bombing of the WTC? That was Dubya's fault too. That's what you get for running those poor innocent Taliban outta town.
Wouldn't have happened on Clinton's watch. He was a Democrat, one of The Good Guys.
He didn't believe me when I suggested he might want to check out exactly who was President during those last two incidents. He also grew mighty upset when I tried to tell him about the timeline between Dubya's attack on Afghanistan and 9/11. No way. Dubya's a warmonger. He struck first. Had to be. Yep. Nobody could want to kill me, I'm a pacifist and a Canadian. (To which my mental reply matches the Monty Python conversation: "Yer a loonie.")
