The title is a quote from the Pulse24.com website, from a neighbour of one of those arrested overnight on terrorism charges. Apparently the group planned to attack the subway system on Monday. Arrests were made from Mississauga to Pickering, right across the Greater Toronto Area.
Canadians are dangerously naive. We've been on a list of terror targets listed by Osama bin Ladin since November 2002. Of the six countries on that list, only two, Canada and Italy, have not had a terrorist attack specifically targetting their citizens. Great Britain, France, Germany and Australia, all "Yes", but Canada and Italy, not yet. Note the "yet".
What's even more disturbing: CSIS and the RCMP have located three al-Qaeda training bases in Ontario...

Poor TTC, first last Monday and now this. I think the city should just take Mondays off for the summer.
