My first impression: the people are nice. The people are NICE. The people are nice.
I have ... an office. With a window. (This is because it gets too hot in there for the lady who started three weeks before I did. She prefers her office, whose only window overlooks the bullpen where the accountants reside. So far, though, I've been quite comfortable.) There's one (1) other male accountant-type, the other 8 are all female (this is not so appealing as you'd think: I never fish off the company's pier, for reasons which should be self-evident).
It's going to be an interesting place to work, I think.
